Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Outblock Pty Ltd (ABN 94 655 314 051) (“Outblock”, “we”, “us” or “our”), the operator of Ejecto — the Ejecto web studio and the Ejecto mobile app for iOS (the “Service”) — collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information. We are based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, and we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to the Ejecto mobile app, the Ejecto web studio and related services. By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — when you sign in with Apple, Google or a one-time email code, we collect your email address and basic profile info. With Sign in with Apple you may choose to hide your email, in which case we receive only Apple’s private relay address. We never see or store your Apple or Google password.
  • Photos and creations — the photos you take or upload to make stickers, and the prompts, stickers and packs you generate and save. Photos are uploaded to private, access-controlled storage.
  • Community content — packs you choose to publish to the Explore community feed, which become visible to other users.
  • Purchases — when you buy credits, Apple processes the payment and tells us that a purchase succeeded (a transaction identifier and product). We never receive your card or full payment details.
  • Usage and device information — basic technical and product analytics such as app interactions, app version, device type and a random/anonymous identifier, used to run, secure and improve the Service.
  • Notifications — if you allow push notifications, a device push token so we can send you relevant updates (e.g. when someone uses your sticker). You can turn these off at any time in iOS Settings.

If you do not sign in, your work is stored locally on your device and is not sent to us (except as needed to generate a sticker — see “AI generation”).

3. How we use your information

  • To generate sticker artwork from your photos and prompts.
  • To let you sign in, save your packs, and sync them across your devices.
  • To run the Explore community feed and credit rewards.
  • To process in-app purchases and keep your credit balance accurate.
  • To send notifications you’ve opted into.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Service.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

4. AI generation

We use Google’s Gemini models to generate artwork from your photos and prompts. The content you submit is sent to Google for processing as part of generating your stickers. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train our own models.

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, and as you direct:

  • Apple — Sign in with Apple and In-App Purchase billing.
  • Google — AI generation (Gemini) and Google sign-in.
  • Supabase — authentication, database and secure storage of your account, photos and packs.
  • PostHog — product analytics (US cloud).
  • Vercel — website and backend hosting.
  • Other users — only the packs you choose to publish to Explore, and content you export or send (e.g. to iMessage, WhatsApp or Telegram) at your direction.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Outblock, our users or others.

6. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers store and process data outside Australia (including in the United States and the European Union). Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

7. Data retention and security

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and comply with our legal obligations. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your rights and deleting your account

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can delete your account directly in the app (Profile → delete account): this schedules a permanent deletion of your account, photos and generated packs after a short grace period during which you can restore it by signing back in. You can also email us at hao@outblock.io.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
